Located on what was once a large farm on a secluded countryside road, now stands a sprawling southern splendor. From its deep porch, towering white columns, and elegant french doors, this home possesses a timeless antebellum charm that has become a rarity in modern construction. Framed by mature oak trees and encompassed by native greenery, this 16-acre property embodies the precious gift of privacy with the added advantage of being able to live life wide open.
Cade and Nancy Pray of Hammond always knew they wanted their forever home to come with a side of extra acreage. Having outgrown their former home, Cade began seeking out potential properties when he stumbled upon a seemingly unutilized field- that wasn’t for sale. Feeling
drawn to the former farmland, Cade inquired with a neighboring friend about the estate and was immediately informed that the owner wasn’t interested in selling. This, however, didn’t prevent Cade from further pursuing the property.
“I basically entered a year-long courtship with the owner,” said Cade. “After meeting with him numerous times overthe course of a year, he finally agreed to sell it to me.”
